This nice roadside sign for the New West Motel directs you to rooms with cable TV. Not sure what the accommodations are like inside, though.

Here's a shot of a motel marquee with real character... a seal character that is. The Seal's Motel sports a working neon seal as part of its signage. What more could you ask for...

Update 07/07 : The Seal's Motel neon sign was removed and replaced by backlit plastic. Many thanks to Mike Fuller for update. 07-07

Fancy the mid-century colors on this sign! Grab some guacamole and head on over to the Klose-in Motel in Seattle. Not sure if the clock still works, but heck it is a great sign!

El Dorado Motel
Seattle, WA

The El Dorado Motel in Seattle, WA features a vintage marquee sign with a giant neon swooping arrow... standard in its time.

Shady Lane Motel

What's the best thing to do on a full stomach? A nap of course. If you're in Yakima, WA, spend the night at the Shady Lane Motel. Can't vouch for the lodging, but the marquee ain't bad.
