This old gas station is the Truxton Station found where else but in Truxton, AZ. The gas station looked good when this photo was taken. The blue and white paint looked treat with the Route 66 town in the backdrop. 09-21

Check out the vintage Whiting Bros. Gas Station located in Holbrook, AZ. This location is a part of a former chain of gas stations located across the United States. Many of them were located on old Route 66 including this one.

The Whiting Bros. chain started up back in 1926 and once had over a hundred station active at one time. The chain was based in Arizona including Holbrook and had a slogan "Quality gas for less", a phrase that was engrained in the minds of drivers everywhere.
