Located just east of Kingman, AZ is the town of Golden Springs. Located here is an old gas station called the The Outpost. The place appeared closed and there were some historic pumps still on site. The location looked this way for several years.
Today the Outpost Gas is still around. The place has been built out and modernized and made commercial. The old historic look is long gone. 09-21

Here are some tanks located off of Route 66 in Williams, AZ This place is part of Shell. 09-21
Here's an old station that is home to the Shell Gas Mart. Also featuring a food store, this Shell was found along old Route 66 in Holbrook, AZ. Check out the large sign above the canopy. 09-21
Check out the boomerang canopy on this gas station which was likely a Phillips 66 "gull wing" variety. The Blue Flame Gas off the old Benson Highway is noteworthy for its awnings that scream of the mid-century when it was likely built.
Unfortunately this gem is no longer sitting alongside the road is Tucson. After being painted black years later the whole structure is gone similar to many of the roadside businesses that used to do the old Benson Highway. 07-22

Check out this eye-catching art deco looking gas station found off the side of the main highway in Tucson. The gas station was built in 1936 and was home to various gas station brands including 76, Exxon and Shell. After a stint as a tax place, lately it appears to be a bail bond place. 07-22
Here's a photo of the station over two decades later in June 2022. The station looks pretty much the same.
