The Silver Bullet (Gone)
Casa Grande, AZ Photo by RoadsidePeek.com
The Silver Bullet is a roadside
tavern located in Casa Grande. Check out the neon bubbly on the marquee. The sign appears to date back to the 1950's or 1960's. The bar itself was built in 1956.
Another view of the Silver Bullet sign and business while it was still open and before the sign was sold off in 2016.
UPDATE : The bar is shut down and the sign is gone. Word is the sign was sold to a collector. 04-17

Here's a night shot of Goldie's
Route 66 Diner, located right off where else but Route 66 in Williams,
AZ. With the boomerang off the side, the place looks like a classic googie California coffee shop. 07-05

Mr. Lucky's (Closed)
Phoenix, AZ Photo by RoadsidePeek.com
Traveling through Phoenix is not the same without a roadside look at Mr. Lucky's. In business
since the 1960's, Mr. Lucky's and its joker-like sign is a real head-turner,
especially at night. Alas, as many good things come to an end, Mr. Lucky's
has closed down for good. Finding a good roadside sign is becoming a rarity
these days as these businesses that date back decades are shutting down
at an alarming rate. 07-05
