Route 66Here's a neon shot of the Grand Canyon Cafe off of Route 66 in Flagstaff.

The Grand Canyon Cafe first opened in 1942 and then the Wong family of four brothers bought the place in 1945. The cafe has been serving chicken fried steak and other entrees since then. 01-07

The Buckskin Tavern is an old roadside bar located a mile or so north of town in Fredonia, AZ. 06-09

 

 

Bubba's Restaurant

Check out this photo of Bubba's Restaurant, located off of the main highway in Yuma, AZ. Bubba's looks like it was in a former Denny's restaurant.

Today the business is now called Bubba's Southern Barbeque.

 

 

Desert Sands Bar

This rather eye catching sign is located in Casa Grande. The Desert Sands Bar and its neon really catches the eye.. Check out the lettering for cocktails and package liquor. Word is this business dates back decades. 06-23

 

 

Horse Shoe Cafe

The neon welcomes hungry patrons at the Horse Shoe Cafe in Benson, AZ. The cafe dates back to 1936 and resides in a two story stucco building that was built in 1914. Word is the location has been a post office, train depot, bus stop, and a cafe.

Rumors are this place is haunted with images of a ghostly woman seen on the top floor window as well as near a step railing inside. Check out this site for more information about the ghostly hauntings. 06-23

 

 

Jerry's Restaurant

Here's is Jerry's Restaurant in a shot from the late 1990's with the Copper Manor motel sign in the background. Jerry's used to be a restaurant and coffee shop chain and was known for their distinct signs, and food of course. This Jerry's is now gone. A Joe's Ribs is now at this location. Oh and by the way, the Copper Manor is now a Nite Inn. 06-23
