Check out Goody's Restaurant. This sign has been repainted a few times and is now a bright orange. Here's a shot of this sign at night.
UPDATE 09/10 : Goody's closed down the San Gabriel location in January 2010 and has since moved to El Monte. 09-10
The Stan Kite Restaurant and barbeque is an old coffee shop that's met up with recent neglect. The marquee itself is something to marvel at but the location is sad and nostalgic. This coffee shop has been closed for quite a few years.

(Far right ) Here's a Bob's statue that used to sit in the Montclair mall. Unfortunately, this restaurant closed down a few years ago and Bob went with it.
The former Covered Wagon restaurant in Anaheim still exhibited the Van de Kamp's look, minus windmill. This place has been demolished like much of Anaheim's roadside treasures of the mid-century.
UPDATE 12/10 : There is a newish restaurant building now on site at t his location which is open for lease. The old Van de Kamp's building is gone. 12-10
This old coffee shop belongs to the M&M Soul Food in Inglewood. Check out the overhang over the front sidewalk and the side views. 04-06
