Here's a Bob's statue that used to sit in the Montclair

went with it.

Sometimes a picture says a thousand words. This Denny's Restaurant sign has seen its end, about to be replaced by one of the newer Denny's
Diner signs. Another sign, hearkening back to a previous era, is lost.

Check out Goody's Restaurant.
This sign has been repainted a few times and is now a bright orange. The sign also looks great with its neon lit at night.

The Stan Kite Restaurant and barbeque is an old coffee shop that's
met up with recent neglect. The marquee itself is something to marvel
at but the location is sad and nostalgic. The Kite restaurant was built around 1957.
This coffee shop has been closed for quite a few years.

Once upon a time, these ranch style Bob's Big Boy restaurants were
located all over the Southland, including Garden Grove, Montebello, and
Long Beach. Well, this location on Wilshire Blvd is one of the last of the ranch style survivors and has been around since 1972.
UPDATE 07/08 : Bob's on Wilshire, is scheduled to close for business. Its last day will be Sunday, June 22, 2008. Many thanks to Chris Krause for update, which was received on June 18. 07-08
UPDATE 09/10 : The Bob's Big Boy on Wilshire Boulevard was closed and demolished in 2008. 09-10
