Here's the familiar sign for the New York Kosher sausage shop off Devon Avenue in Chicago. Not sure if the Sinai sausages served here were impacted with the closure in early 2009 of Sara Lee's kosher hot dog and meat processing facility. 11-09

Berghoff Restaurant

Located just a few blocks from the Sears Tower in Chicago is this historic gem called The Berghoff Restaurant. The Berghoff dates back to 1898 when the place opened as the Berghoff Cafe after the founder's new brew of Berghoff Beer met with success along the Midway at the Chicago World's Fair of 1893.

Check out the lettering on this Chicken Restaurant found in DeKalb, IL. The letters appears to be rusted out these days and most likely no longer light up the street of DeKalb these days. 08-10
