Check out the Silver Saddle Steakhouse sign. The Silver Saddle is known by locals as having really good steaks. In fact readers of the Arizona Daily Start voted the Silver Saddle the best steakhouse in Tucson in 2009. The Silver Saddle has been around since 1984. 09-21
Here's the parking sign for Gene's Restaurant found in Yuma, AZ. Gene's Restaurant advertises its Chinese and American food. Well, Gene's Restaurant closed down and became a used auto sales lot. In the past couple of years, the used car lot closed down leaving an empty deserted building. 09-21

It appears the Hacienda Motel is no more. Not sure when the Hacienda shut its doors. 09-21

The Falcon Restaurant continues to be a familiar sight for travelers who pass through the well known Route 66 town of Winslow, AZ. The Falcon Restaurant always seems to be busy whenever I pass by on either direction of Route 66.
The Falcon Restaurant & Lounge opened its doors on July 9, 1955. Ever since then the restaurant on 1113 E. Third St. has been a good stop for homestyle meals and its sign showcases is focus on "family" eating. Check out the cool arrows on the sign that point the way to the from door.
