Easy 8 Motel (Now Desert Sun Motel)
Winslow

The Easy 8 Motel makes it easy to see where it is located due to the rather large sign that stands tall near the westbound end of Route 66 in Winslow, AZ. Located somewhat close to the downtown area, the Easy 8 sign has a huge boomerang arrow. The motel itself was built back in 1953.
The Easy 8 is now the Desert Sun Motel. The motel changed its name from the Easy 8 Motel almost 20 years ago. I believe the Desert Sun was the motel's originally name back when it was built. 09-21
