This sign at the entry to the town of Gila Bend features this whimsical Welcome Sign. Yes, the sign does actually say it is home to "1700 friendly people and 5 old crabs". 11/20

The 4 Amigos Super Discount Store features a mid-century sign and a parabolic building that is quite eye-catching from the street. Not sure what this store used to be. Possibly a White Front store?

Here's the sign for the Wolf's Department Store located in Buckeye, AZ. The lettering on the sign is now gone and says Absolute Uniforms. The building itself still has some lettering from the old Wolf's Department Store which now houses the Cafe 25:35. 06-23

Check out the sign for the Pawn Shop in Tucson, AZ. Back when this photo was taken 25 years ago, the sign and arrow still had remnants of bulbs and neon tubing. 06-23

Here is Larriva's which is a television and stereo store in Nogales, AZ. The red and blue sign stand tall and really catch the eye of travelers passing through.

Check out King Tut's Mini-Mart in Golden Valley, AZ. This business has a cool sign on top. Or at least it had a cool sign. The building was hit by a semi-truck in June 2010 which impacted about a third of the structure and narrowly missed the clerk on duty. The plan was to rebuild the building.
Well the grocery store is now gone. Great American Pizza and Subs is now at this location. 06-23
