Here's a great neon sign for Spec's Liquor in none other than Houston, Texas. The great part of the Spec's marquee is both that its neon and the bunny that glows with a grin. Plus, this place has been owned by the same family since 1962.

The Womack Machine Supply marquee out front of the business features a colorful neon display, with all lettering appearing to be working. Check out the neon depiction of the machine.

The neon marquee for the Woodard Building Supply was designed in the streamline moderne vein. Still working after all of these years and sporting fancy colors to boot, Woodard is a signpost in Fort Worth.

Here's a shot of the rest of Kruger's all lit up, reminding passersby to stop by the next day for some jewelry. Kruger's has been located on S. Congress since 1939.

Peters Bro's Inc.
Fort Worth, TX

Peter Bro's Inc features a neon hat juggling on its marquee.

 

UPDATE 11/20 : The neon features the letting "the Texas hat" on the sign. Located in downtown Fort Worth, the store opened as a shoeshine shop in 1911 by Tom and Jim Peters. The store eventually became a hat shop in 1933.
