Here's a shot of the Favorite Liquor neon marquee, which features
some of the prettiest neon in town. The neon goes all the way around the
building.
UPDATE 11/20 : Here's another photo of the Favorite Liquor sign. The Favorite Liquor closed down in last 2019 amidst continual rising property values in Austin and higher property taxes. Word is the former Favorite Liquors site is being replaced by a residential tower. The next door Hut's Hamburgers also shut down on October 2019.

Sigel's Liquor is a nice "googie" sign sporting its "bubbly"
down the front of the marquee. The neon is still in great shape.
UPDATE 05/09 : Until the Sigel's liquor store closed down in late April, the Sigel's bubbly sign had been a familiar sight at the Lemmon Avenue and Inwood Road location for over 50 years. Fortunately, the sign has been saved and will be moved from the Dallas location to Addison, TX now that the Addison City Council approved an exception to its sign ordinance. According to the Dallas News, Sigel's officials hope to install the marquee at the Addison location in June. 05-09
