This multi-colored motel sign for the Hi-Lo Motel really captures the attention of motorists with its multi-colored block letters.
The West Walker Motel is located in .. you guessed it.. Walker, CA. It's conveniently located right off the 395.
This marquee for the Golden Motel is still in great shape with good paint. Unfortunately, this sign was removed, yet another loss in West Sacramento.
Hmm. This looks suspiciously like a drive-in theatre marquee. Who knows.
UPDATE 07/08 : The El Rancho marquee which also welcomed visitors to the El Rancho Drive-in Theatre was removed in 2007. 07-08
Well, all you dewds or dudes... check out the Dude Motel if your in Sacramento. You can't beat the advertisement for amenities such as "free kitchens."
Here's the Fremont Motel. And yes, this neon marquee does still light up.
