This multi-colored motel sign for the Hi-Lo Motel really captures the attention of motorists with its multi-colored block letters.
The West Walker Motel is located in .. you guessed it.. Walker, CA. It's conveniently located right off the 395.
This streamline appearing motel, the Lee Vining, features a neon sign over the front overhang canopy. From a distance, this place looks like a gas station.
The Redwood Motel in Bridgeport features a relatively plain jane type of marquee out front. But check out the cows... yes the cows.
Further down the street, the Silver Maple Motel sign stands out in both its rich colors and lettering.
Don't quite remember where this motel is at, other than its off the 395. This sign for the Andruss Motel still appears to be in great shape.. perhaps new. UPDATE 04/06 : The Andruss Motel is in Walker, California on US Hwy 395. The sign was erected in 1960 when Ray and Margaret Andruss bought "Hickson's Fish Camp" (built in 1957) and expanded the four room, knotty pine, rustic board and batten ranch style building into the "All Western Motel Here's a black and white shot of the Western Motel cactus marquee in Santa Clara. The motel appears to have a ranch theme.

This marquee for the Golden Motel is still in great shape with good paint. Unfortunately, this sign was removed, yet another loss in West Sacramento.
Hmmm. This looks suspiciously like a drive-in theatre marquee. Who knows. UPDATE 07/08 : The El Rancho marquee which also welcomed visitors to the El Rancho Drive-in Theatre was removed in 2007. 07-08
