A good classic liquor store sign for Sam's Liquor. Stuff like
this can still be found, but not as prevalent as before.

(Far right) Here's an interesting two-pronged sign for the Zip Liquor.
The lettering on "Zip" smells of the vintage mid-century variety. Not sure if the Zip Liquor survived the big Orange County roadside sign purge of recent years.

Fancy this nice marquee to the Canyon City Liquor store, off Route
66. Many of the old signs along the Mother Road has disappeared around this area lately, but the Canyon City sign still endures.

Pasadena, CA Photo by RoadsidePeek.com
Located on an older alignment of Route 66 through Pasadena, the Cal
Oaks Pharmacy store stays in business, providing service to the community
for over 40 years.
Well, like many good things, the Cal Oaks era has come to a close as
the business was closed down in early 2005.

Frank's Liquor in Montebello is more along the
lines of the neighborhood liquor store. It's a huge sign located right along the main drag.

This liquor store in LA shows its formerly neon arrow. Once upon a time,
a sign like this was on just about every neighborhood liquor store.
