How about the El Tavern Motel in Reno. This motel in interesting in that the sign out front also advertises its "grab n' go" food.
Here's a fine motel marquee. The Merry Wink Motel still winks away along roadside Reno.
The Park Motel is still open in Sparks, with its old vintage marquee standing right near the roadside.

The top of the marquee is gone with only the orange part at the bottom remaining. 12-08 UPDATE 03/09 : Two former roadside businesses along Reno's main drag Virginia Street will be torn down soon after a Reno City Council meeting this past week. The Zanzibar Motel and the Zanzibar Lounge had been closed for some time and are located in a Reno redevelopment district near the Peppermill and Atlantis casinos. Here's the Silver State Lodge in Reno, NV. Back in the late 90's the ancient cabins and octagon house had been sold to a house for wayward girls. They were scheduled to be moved. More photos and information can be found here at Roadside Peek's Lost Treasures area.
