The Rancho Sierra depicts an image of the snow capped mountain range that is nearby.

How about the El Tavern Motel in Reno. This motel in interesting in that the sign out front also advertises its "grab n' go" food.

Next door to the Sage Motel was the Gold Key Motel. This motel featured interesting architecture and a large neon "Motel and Pool" rooftop sign. The motel also was destroyed.

The Sage Motel is another old roadside motel that hearkens back to an earlier era. This motel was demolished sometime around 2004 as the whole block was razed.

Here's the Silver State Lodge in Reno, NV. Back in the late 90's the ancient cabins and octagon house had been sold to a house for wayward girls. They were scheduled to be moved. More photos and information can be found here at Roadside Peek's Lost Treasures area.
