As you travel down the highway, you'll suddenly run across a neon sign telling you to "Eat Now at Waddle's". After blinking rapidly a few times, you'll pull over and see the Waddle's coffee shop in all its mid-century modern grace in Portland, OR. Unfortunately, the place has now turned into a Hooter's Restaurant and the sign has been altered. 12-06
The Ming Wah is a typical old Chinese restaurant, having seen better days, but still going. 07-07
The Peking Garden sign is interesting, in that the building itself had burned down, was razed, and the lot was left empty for a long time, but the sign remained. The restaurant was then rebuilt and the sign re-energized. 07-07
Dicks Hamburgers is a Spokane staple that will hopefully never change their sign. 07-07
The Brown Derby is a "quaint" neighborhood tavern with a great neon sign. 07-07
Ferguson's Cafe's claim to fame was being in the movie "Benny and Joon". 07-07
