Flying Boots Cafe

Here's a nice sign with an equally unique name. The Flying Boots Cafe depicts a neon boot with wings on its very descriptive sign atop the roof. Signs like these are what makes traveling the road interesting and this Tacoma landmark does not disappoint.

Near Seattle is a nice neon sign outside of Harvey's Tavern. Imagine leaving a tavern and seeing a bright glowing bunny smiling down at you.

Dick's Hamburgers

Here's Dick's Hamburgers still fits the bill for instant service near downtown Seattle. The first Dick's Drive-in opened in 1954, and now there are five locations.

 

UPDATE 04-17 : Dick Spady, the co-founder and namesake of the Dick's chain died in 2016 at the age of 92. Spady was known for offering the highest pay in the industry as well as 100% health coverage to employee. For more information, see the Seattle Times. 04-17

Here's a fantastic eatery with a Polynesian theme. The Alibi lights up the night through an interesting area.
