Wilkesboro Speedway was one of the first speedways used for NASCAR and was still being used for time trials in the last 10 years.  It has fallen apart in recent years but was a big draw for the southern crowds in NASCAR’s beginning years. 08-08

 

Dr. Pepper

This is the largest Dr. Pepper sign I think I have ever seen.  It is in downtown Roanoke VA.  It appears that the neon still lights up at night. 08-08

Check out the famous H&C Coffee sign in downtown Roanoke, VA. This sign is a local landmark and was recently restored along with the neighboring Dr. Pepper sign. 08-08

Check out this western sign for the Bluegrass Inn, which is located right next door to Robert's Western Wear in Nashville, TN. The Blue Grass Inn sign features a cowboy with a rope that creatively loops into the words "music" on the sign. 09-08

 

Sewell Manufacturing Co.

This building for the Sewell Manufacturing Co. in Bremen, GA is home to this tailored clothing company. Sewell Manufacturing at one time manufactured and marketed the Colours by Alexander Julian clothing line. The Sewell business line dates back to 1918. 04-09
