When you travel to Gila Bend Arizona, a must top is the Best Western Space Age Lodge motel and restaurant. The Space Age Lodge was originally named Stovall's Space Age Lodge when it was built in 1965 by the legendary Al Stovall. Al Stovall was the owner of other Space Age motels including a couple that used to be in Anaheim, CA.

Gila Bend was home to many a roadside motel that turned heads a couple decades ago. One of the motels is the Yucca Motel that is located off of the main drag through Gila Bend named Pima Road. The Yucca Motel was fond on the eastern entrance into the business loop.

The Yucca Motel closed down since the photos were taken in 1999. Taking over business here is the Palm Inn. Photos of the Palms Inn to be added to the site soon. 11-20
