Check out this old roadside sign for the Villa Motel near Globe, AZ. The motel advertises complete comfort just off the main roadside. The motel used to be known as the Rose Villa Motel back in the day The motel appears to date back to the 1940s and used to call itself as the best for rest. 06-23

The Western Motel is and was located along the Old Benson Highway which was one of the main routes through Tucson. The Western Motel sign was pretty weather beaten back in the 1990s, however it still featured signage for kitchenettes and pools which used to be in high demand back in the day. Well, 25 years later the sign is still there though even more faded and beaten down. 06-23

Check out The Arizonan Motel located in Tucson. The Arizonan is located on the edge of the Miracle Mile as you get close to Oracle Rd. The sign advertises quite prominently kitchenettes and daily and weekly rates to its guests. The sign was constructed in 1951 when the motel was known as Canyon State Motor Lodge. In the 1970s, the motel itself became The Arizonan Motel.
Well the motel is closed and now gone. The sign was rescued and is located along a two block neon sign park. 06-23

Check out the Americana Motor Hotel located near the United States and Mexico border in Nogales, AZ. The motel still survives 25 years later and however the sign has been adapted as the motel is now called Quality Hotel Americana. 06-23

Tucson is home to the El Sahuaro Motel which had been converted to apartments when this photo was taken. . The motel building are still here however the sign is now gone. 06-23

The sign for the Mesa Motel sticks up tall alongside the road in Tucson, AZ. The Mesa Motel was found along the Old Benson Highway. The motel is now gone and replaced with what's called the Wagon Wheel Efficiency Apartments. 06-23
