Here are a couple of photos of the Eagle's Nest Court in Tucson, AZ. The sign has been gone for some time and hearkens back to a heyday where there were several motel signs along the main highways in Tucson. Check out the image of the eagle on this sign. 06-23

Travel along the old Benson Highway in Tucson which was the old main route through the city. The Bucking Bronco Court was converted to apartments and now appears to be a trailer park. 06-23
Tucson is home to a Downtown Motor Hotel which was once a common name in many cities and towns that featured a downtown area. The Downtown Motor Hotel features n eye catching neon sign which advertises air conditioning and reasonable rates. The motel was built in 1941 and has seen many changes over the years just like other motels, including being vacant for many years. The motel was known as "The only motor hotel in the heart of the city" and the original neon sign was replaced by the current sign in 1953.
Back in 2014, there were plans to demolish the motel to build a four-story apartment building for homeless veterans.
Indeed, the motel building was demolished and replaced with a new structure. The facade and sign were preserved. 06-23
